Things in the timeline that I don’t remember reading in the story: origin and travels of Leeton (1877 and 1910), what Eliasha did in 1997, and that Liseli was seen in 1999.

But then, a little spoiler now and then isn’t the end of the world, not this or any other

Arlic decided that Byzauki must have been an impostor after his death, but the presence of "prophecy impostors" and Arlic's punishment for them predates Byzauki.

Halla left Arlic 33 years after the Prophecy was spoken — it was in that 33 year period that impostors kept cropping up, and Arlic got sick of it and started to punish them, against Halla's wishes. 7 years later Arlic took a mistress and Byzauki was born. 28 years later, Byzauki died. And the story takes place 17 years after that.

I knew there was something bigger than just the family drama.

So Arlic was from off-world? And Leeton sounds dangerous.

This didn't make sense to me: "No, Halla left him long before Byzauki was even born. Halla left him because of the law he made about imposters. Well, she left him for more than that, but that was the last straw, you see. "

I thought the law for imposters came after Byzauki's death, so how could that be the reason Hanna left before his birth? Did I miss something?
