Thanks. :) Fate vs. free will is a major theme, so I'm glad it's coming through.

I wanted readers to think that what is happening is completely real, at first, because Liseli thinks it's completely real. And then only realize, when she starts to catch on, that it's actually in her mind. How much is her own unconscious imagination, and how much is Alisiya manipulating her? Well . . . . . . :)

I got a little confused about half way in when Alisiya started asking Liseli to wake up. I thought all of it was conscious since the last encounter was. The woman is a god, after all and I wouldn't be surprised if she could make the river disappear. I guess it just wasn't clear that it was a dream or a hallucination, at least not to me.

I like the distorted concept of fate. Fate or destiny is supposed to be something that happens naturally yet here we have Aliysia forcing Fate upon Liseli, forcing certain events to happen in order to make her own end event happen. If it's supposed to happen, shouldn't the pieces just fall into place as is? Eliasha's parents were supposed to die, that way Liseli could come in and free the kingdom, that type of thing. It leaves me wondering just how compliant Liseli will be to all of this in the end. Great job on the story!
