A powerful series of chapters, I could feel the predicament that Russ was in, and then suddenly the triumph and fear of his freedom. Well done.

I'm digging the segue of the fantasy into the reality, Russ imagining that all of those things were happening when, in reality, it was a blind rage. It was odd but neat at the same time.

The thing is, he still seems backed into a corner. Should they catch him again, it would be wise to bind him instead of putting him anywhere near locks, huh?
