I hate to be a bother (again), but I'd thought I'd let you know that you don't have Part Two linked in your table of contents, on this chapter at the bottom or in the square at the top.

Just wanted to say, I came across this site from pages unbound a while back, orginally as a tales of MU reader. This story has become my favorite, amongst all those listed on the pages unbound site. I can't wait to see the direction this story takes.

I think it's one thing to read about a hated character getting her comeuppance and another to actually stand there while someone is about to get gang raped . . . also Russ doesn't even know the full extent of what Alisiya did to Liseli, not the worst of it, and it's easy for him to forget what a rotten person she is when she's at the mercy of even-more-rotten people.

At any rate, I just couldn't stop him from being all conscientious about things while I was writing it so I was forced to blind him, stop him from doing anything. . . . Let him talk it out with his conscience in the next part, instead.

re: the bird-girls. Had to think about that one for a moment, heh. Russ thinks of them that way because they have black hair and eyes and when they yelled at him they reminded him of screeching crows. (I'd call them crow-girls except that makes me think of Charles de Lint's Crow Girls.) That's pretty much it. They have regular humanoid features, otherwise.

Thanks for commenting. :)

And one final note: The ritual of Osvira. That's some crazy shit right there.

Those priests were going to gangrape a 5-6 year old child?!! O.o That's horrible! Eugh. I hate priests :x

And a completely different note again: The bird Erukymin people. (forgot the real name, too lazy to look up)

I'm having trouble picturing them really. You wrote that they look like birds. How exactly? All you've really told us about them is that they have large eyes, but why would that make them look like birds, and not bugs? :o It's just confusing me, and it would be really cool if you could explain their features better :)

<

p>Right now I'm picturing that the child clinging to russ is, in fact, a bird, and I'm pretty sure that's not right : 4a7d3d609129a9296bf7ac0608c2097

Anyway, great stuff as always, looking forward to the next chapter! :D

Forgot to say, was this chapter a bit short, or was it just that exiting that I lost track of time?

Exellent stuff :)
