No. Just a site redesign. I'll finish it sometime, though right now I'm focusing more exclusively on Queen of Seven.

You know.. the possibility for a sequel might lie in explaining how the mirror thing worked. Unless there was something I didn't understand back when Muse had the conversation with Older Muse. Was she really talking to herself? If not, then I wonder if Muse can use the mirrors as like.

Well seeing as you're basically about to finish Muse off, I can't say I'm surprised if she's gonna screw you over on this one. cackle

It's kind of funny to note that I actually started Dreamers with mostly ideas for the interpersonal-drama stuff and then expanded on the notion of the dual lives as it came to me. . . . Regardless, I need to write a sequel like I need a hole in the head so I can pretty much say there won't be a mortal Muse story of any kind. My goal for next week is to write the ending. I pretty much know how I want it, but actually writing it . . . dot dot dot . . .

Yeah, no neat resolutions . . . but it turned from a highly engaging fantasy-world adventure/romance into much more interpersonal-relationship soap opera with some emo overtones for the adults. A very well-written one, but QoS has never really floated my boat. Dreamers started out much better, for me, with lots of mysteries and things to explore—the whole concept of the world is very nifty—but then it started spinning into more and more angst and such. Any sequel here with a mortal Muse would seem to have a lot less of the parts that interest me, and more of the ones that don't.

And I don't know that there'd be any 3-way relationship, not not on any time scale that matters :) It's either Peter-Beauty-Love-Muse or (memory)-Beauty-Love-(memory). Beauty's shown remarkable patience and understanding . . . blink your eyes and with a mortal Muse, that's where they'd end up.

Meh. I don't like three way relationships, I wouldn't wrap it up that way. I suppose I should get around to writing the end soon though. :S

I'm not really sure what you mean about Alisiyad and QoS? There's certainly been no neat resolutions there . . . which is why it spawned a sequel.

On the surface, this seems like it might provide a very neat resolution to the little ménage à trois . . . Love finds his true love, mortal, and Beauty keeps hers—and they return in the dreamworld to what was, with all content.

But I'd hate to see Dreamers go like Alisiyad turned into Queen of Seven. That's not a reflection on quality—just on the type of stories I like to read.

I hope Muse can be happy now that she is mortal. Hope you get back into the grove again, looking forward to more.
