Happy Alisiyad Week

Alisiyad takes place the week leading up to Mother’s Day (hence the title of Chapter 23) and so I’ve dubbed that week Alisiyad Week.  Here are some things you can do to celebrate Alisiyad Week:

• Eat lots of burgers. Or don’t eat at all.
• Hang out in an abandoned building.
• Come down with a really nasty cold.
• Unlock things with the power of your mind.
• Discover an alternate world.
• Wander around in the woods for a couple days.
• Hook up with that person you’ve always been obsessed with and/or ambivalent about.
• Breed a line of nasty looking uber strong dogs and strike fear in the hearts of people wherever you go.
• Poison your local river.
• Make a prophecy.
• Die.
• Come back to life.
• Stab people.

Okay, I’ll stop there.  I’m sure you can think of other, equally depraved and objectionable things to do in celebration.

To mark this glorious week, which happens but once a year, I rewrote part of Chapter 12, Part 3 so if you want you can check that out.  Chapter 12 originally came with a sceks scene, which was very bad, so I killed it in a fit of pique and posted the chapter without.  But as it is Alisiyad Week (fanfare) I actually applied myself to rewriting it (from scratch, much like biscuits) and it’s just as bad, but I’m in a good mood.  So if you want to read it better catch it before I delete it in mad authorial rage.

Volume 2 of Queen of Seven, incidentally, also takes place in the week leading up to Mother’s Day.  So one could also call this Volume 2 Week or Six Going On Seven Week.  But Alisiyad Week just sounds cooler.
