I have arrived!

I’m proud to announce that for the first time, I truly feel like I deserve that third spot on Pages Unbound’s “Most Reviewed” page.

Why? Because both Intimate History and Tales of MU have hack reviews written by disgruntled people with an ax to grind. Previously Alisiyad didn’t, but now it does. (A retaliatory review for something I reviewed on WFG.)

Seriously, you know you deserve to be up there with the big girls when people hate you.

Very cliche, short, it seems like little thought was put into the writing. The characters aren’t remarkable at all. I’m sorry I wasted my time.

I think the placement of the “found helpful” thing tripped you up (it took me a moment to match everything up on there, too), Trygve, it’s above the comment itself.
So that one is actually 0 out of 16 for helpfulness.

As far as the commenter goes, I know it’s hurtful when you share the hard work you put into a story and other people don’t appreciate it the way you do. If you understand that that’s a possibility before you decide to share your work, it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there like that. I can understand the impulse to want to make people you percieve to have hurt you feel the same way, but it’s really not going to do you any good. It just makes you transparent and brings more negative attention to yourself. Especially when you take something honest and, in my opinion, pretty respectful and answer it with personalized anger.

That may be why I don’t write to share, or review, for that matter

Congrats on arriving though! You certainly have hit a new plateau when you matter enough to warrant people nitpicking at you.

. . . And my two cents because I can’t not when I read things like this . . . You’re my favorite webnovel, hee. I really do think your story is the most true to character and I love the way you write it. It’s the first one I recommend to any of my friends.

I’ve had my fair share of legitimate criticism of my writing, and frankly it amuses me when someone who didn’t even read it tries to stab me. It’s not even nitpicking as what she said had everything to do with my review and nothing to do with my actual story.

I know I found that review helpful. Now I know that that person is a douche. Seriously, chiche? I have never, EVER seen a story like yours, it’s unique, and awesome.

Sarah, you have always been an amazing author in my eyes, since I found an ad linking to this page. I salute ye, as you managed to do what I failed. (I tried writing a novel in four parts, gave up after the first. I think I have the data somewhere on my computer still)
