I just want to clap my hands at how well you're maintaining Russ and Liseli's characters. Not all writers can do that and their characters get lost alone the way. I still want to smack both of them and give them Nerf bats. Good job!

Not really — I guess the proper use of sheik is to mean “a man held to be irresistibly attractive to romantic young women” (M-W) but Russ is thinking of the art shops in almost the same way. He has a jealousy problem.

it's nice to know that they haven't changed much.

But it kinda bugs me that Liseli wasn't happier to see him. I mean, at least Russell's thinking about her in this fight, even if he's being a dumb boy.

Boys are naturally dumb, I happen to be one.

But Liseli isn't showing much regard for Russ. As much as he's got his foot in his mouth, it's about their relationship and what she means to him.

Honestly though, I'm impressed how well Liseli puts up with it. Because I couldn't handle my honey bunch of burning love to be gone for months at a time.
