You know, I almost recanted my opinion of Liseli from the last chapter but I don’t think I’m going to. Perhaps if she actually opened her mouth, she wouldn’t be in this mess. Same for Russ. Both of them have communication issues. Maybe they should try talking about walkie talkies since face to face obviously doesn’t work. Build it up gradually.

Liseli values life and I love how realistic it is. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows. I think that's why she's so upset at Kiki because at 15 years old, you don't really know the value of a life because you haven't even lived your own.

So realistic. I love it!

Yeah, that's one of the reasons a used the words "a little"; she was older, but she was still unmarried when she got pregnant. She'd also lost a child three years earlier. I think Liseli somehow justifies her 'unwed pregnancy', in a way she wouldn't for others. Strangely, it's not as annoying as that kind of hypocrisy usually is to me. It's just the way Liseli is, and I think she was more prepared to be a mother than Kiki is.

I think not lying to children is generally a good idea. I don't have any myself, but I think it's rarely a good thing to lie to them.

I don't think her full name has been mentioned until now. I thought Elly was probably short for something, but nowadays people use nicknames as given names, so I wasn't sure.

I like that Liseli thinks Russ is too good for the band; that's not usually how it goes.

Isn't Liseli a little hypocritical about the pregnant girlfriend thing?

Oh, if only they would talk to each other. Both Liseli and Russ have some things in common, but they don't realize that.

And I wonder what advises “How to Raise Elly Markson” would contain. Most certainly nothing most people would expect outside of fantasy books.
