So, I’ve just come from a four-day marathon reading of Alisiyad and Queen of Seven (only seven chapters left, darn it!), and thought I’d take a break to comment. I loved Alisiyad, and I QoS is fun for a variety of different reasons. I’ll be sad when I have to wait for updates.

As for the foreshadowing about Marc.. I had forgotten all about that, and I really shouldn’t have, considering that the “Stop putting things in your pants” line is one of my favorites. Not sure why, but it made me giggle. Maybe it has something to do with having a younger brother.. who once stole chocolate from a store via his stomach . . . never a dull moment

Hmm. I've never played Myst. Lots of Tomb Raider and Need for Speed, but no Myst. Heh.

Marc's always been klepto, heh, even way back in Vol 2 when he was five. The gameboy he stole and the way he kept trying to steal things in the grocery store were my foreshadowing. I love foreshadowing. Srsly.

you know, the fantasy element of this story— travel between worlds— and the journals and stuff sort of remind me of the computer game Myst.
