This was a great chapter. The “build me a house” part was suitably creepy The way you get inside the characters’ heads in such a quiet, natural way is what makes them seem so real.

Learning about death at eight can be very hard, I think that was about the time I learned about death. I was a very sad boy for a while, and then I moved on. Then again I have always been more mature than most at my age, maybe it's just how I think of things.

Good chapter and looking forward to more.

That phoenix costume sounds pretty amazing, though.
